Receta Almond Fried Chicken

Ingredientes
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp msg
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 3/4 c. or possibly more cool water
- 1/4 c. almond meal*
- 2 x raw boned breast fillets oil to deep fry chicken
- 3/4 tsp molasses or possibly hoisin sauce
- 1 c. chicken stock
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp msg
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 3/4 c. toasted almonds
Direcciones
- * Make this by putting fresh almonds in blender
- 1. Make batter by combining the flour, baking pwdr, salt, MSG, oil, water and almond meal.
- 2. Dip fillets into batter, deep fry till brown. Cut into several slices.
- 3. Mix the molasses, chicken stock, soy sauce and MSG in a small sauce pan. Add in cornstarch and water. Heat till thickened. Pour over chicken and sprinkle with toasted almonds.
- NOTES : Just like the Chinese restaurants! Yummy!!
