Receta Almond Rochers

Ingredientes
- 2 c. slivered almonds
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp kirsch
- 1 lb bittersweet, lowfat milk or possibly white chocolate broken into pcs
Direcciones
- Place almonds in bowl and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Add in kirsch just to moisten nuts. Stir till nuts are proportionately coated with sugar. Spread nuts on sheet pan. Toast at 375 degrees till golden brown, about 10 min, stirring frequently. Remove from oven and set aside.
- Heat chocolate in double boiler set over, but not touching, simmering water, or possibly in microwave, stirring often. Place half nuts in clean bowl. Drizzle half melted chocolate over nuts and stir to coat.
- Portion out mix with tsp. onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat steps with remaining nuts and chocolate. Chill till hard, 1 hour.
- This recipe yields 48 pcs.
