Receta Apple Almond Rice Mix

Ingredientes
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1/3 c. slivered almonds toasted
- 1/3 c. minced dry apples
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 Tbsp. chicken bouillon granules
Direcciones
- Combine rice, almonds, apples, parsley and bouillon granules. Store in airtight container or possibly plastic bag.
- Preparation instructions: Combine rice mix, 1 c. water, 1 c. apple juice (use 1-3/4 c. total liquid for medium or possibly short grain rice, 2-1/2 c. total liquid for brown rice) and 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine (optional) in 2- to 3-qt saucepan. Reduce heat to simmer; cover and cook 15 min (25 min for parboiled rice, 45 to 50 min for brown rice) or possibly till rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork.
