We started this new tradition of having brunch at our house once a week with the family in town. This was a big hit! I hope you enjoy ;)

  • 1 loaf cinn. french toast bread cut into 1in. cubes
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 C milk
  • 1-21oz. can apple pie filling
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/4 t vanilla
  • 1/4 t cinn.
  • 1/2 C almonds

Direcciones

  1. preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. spread cubed bread into a 3Q baking dish.
  3. wisk eggs, milk, salt, vanilla and cinn together in a large bowl.
  4. stir in apple filling and half the almonds.
  5. pour over cubed bread, make sure to push the bread down after pouring.
  6. sprinkle the rest of the almonds on top.
  7. bake for 50 min. uncovered or untill fully cooked.
  8. sprinle with cinn let cool 15 min.
