Receta Herb Dinner Rolls

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp. soft shortening
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon dill
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1/4 c. sesame seeds, grnd
Direcciones
- Dissolve yeast in water. Add in shortening, salt, sugar, butter and half of the flour. Beat 2 min on medium speed with mixer. Scrape sides and add in rest of flour. Blend with spoon till mixed.
- In food processor, grind sesame seeds till fine. Add in to mix and stir with spoon. Add in pepper and herbs (substitute your favorites as desired). Add in pressed garlic and mix till smooth. Cover and let rise about 30 min. Stir down 25 strokes.
- With large spoon drop onto floured board and shape into small dinner rolls with floured hands. Place on baking sheet and let rise 40 min. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 min or possibly till lightly browned. Makes about 15-20 small dinner rolls.
