  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 6" x 10" (1 1/2 qt) baking dish. In large bowl, put together bread, apples and raisins. In small saucepan, put together 1 cup brown sugar, lowfat milk and 1/4 cup butter. Cook over medium heat till butter is melted; pour over bread mix in bowl. Let stand 10 min. Stir in cinnamon, 1/2 tsp vanilla and large eggs. Pour into prepared baking dish. Bake for 40 to 50 min or possibly till center is set and apples are tender.In small saucepan, put together sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, whipping cream and 1/2 cup butter. Cook over medium heat till mix boils, stirring occasionally. Stir in vanilla. Serve warm over pudding.
