Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. Rolled Oats Uncooked
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp apple pie spice
- 1 1/2 c. Grated Unpeeled Apples
- 1 x egg
- 1/3 c. light corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. minced nuts optional
Direcciones
- 1. In medium-size mixing bowl, combine flours, oats, brown sugar, salt, soda and spice. Add in remaining ingredients, mixing till thoroughly combined. Spread proportionately in 9 x 9 x 2" baking pan sprayed with no-stick cooking spray.
- 2. Bake in 350F. oven about 25 min or possibly till light golden and wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cold completely on wire rack. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.
- Yield: 12 bars, 3 x 2 1/4-inches.
- Suggested Michigan Apple varieties to use: Empire, Gala, Jonagold, Golden brown Delicious, Ida Red, Jonathan, McIntosh, or possibly Rome.
