Receta Apple Fritters/Deep Fried

Ingredientes
- 1 lrg Egg beaten
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 c. Apples * see note
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Greated orange peel
- 3 Tbsp. Orange juice
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr Vegetable oil Confectioner's sugar
Direcciones
- In mixing bowl, combine beaten egg, lowfat milk, apple, sugar, salt, orange peel, orange juice and vanilla. Sift together the flour and baking pwdr; fold into the apple mix, stir just till all flour is moistened. Drop batter by rounded tsp. into warm oil (350 degrees).
- Fry till deep golden, about 3-4 min, turning once. Drain fritters thoroughly on paper towels. Roll in sugar or possibly sift the sugar over the tops.
- Yield: about 40 fritters.
