Receta Aunt Katherine's Chocolate Cake

Ingredientes
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 recipe marshmallow frosting
Direcciones
- Cream sugar and shortening. Add in large eggs and beat, then add in buttermilk, flour, salt, baking soda. Last, you add in melted chocolate and vanilla. Put in 3 greased and lightly floured 9 inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min. Yields 16 servings.Delicious with marshmallow frosting.
