  1. Fry bacon until crisp, remove from fat
  2. Suate onions in bacon fat
  3. Add sugar, vinegar, and water to sauteed onions
  4. Bring boiling point, cool
  5. Place mayonnaise in the moxer bowl
  6. Add cooled-vinegar mixture slowly, beating on the low speed until smooth
  7. Stir in bacon pieces
  8. Serve with tossed green salad
