Receta Baked Apple "Donuts"

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. finely diced apples
Direcciones
- Sift first 5 ingredients. Add in 1/3 cup shortening; mix till mix is coarse. Set aside. In another bowl put together egg, lowfat milk and diced apples. Add in to dry ingredients just till blended.Spoon into 12 greased muffin cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min. While donuts are baking, heat 1/2 cup butter. Set aside. Put together 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. When donuts are done, dip in butter and then in sugar.
