Receta Banana Bread with Walnuts and Dried Cherries
A delicious quick bread that's perfect for breakfast!
Ingredientes
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 ¼ cups unbleached flour
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup dried cherries
Direcciones
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt- set aside.
- Mix together the sugar, butter, and vanilla. Add the eggs and heavy cream- incorporate until fully mixed. Place the 4 peeled bananas in the bowl and blend for 30 seconds.
- Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture- blend until a batter forms, approximately 30 seconds â do not over mix.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts and dried cherries.
- Place the batter in a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick placed in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread sit at least 30 minutes before slicing.
