Receta Banana Chocolate Cake

Ingredientes
- 2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ounce (squares) chocolate, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. ripe bananas, mashed (2 to 3)
- 1/2 c. sour lowfat milk or possibly buttermilk
Direcciones
- Sift flour, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt together. Cream shortening with sugar till fluffy. Add in large eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each is added. Add in chocolate and mix thoroughly. Stir in vanilla. Add in sifted dry ingredients alternately with bananas and lowfat milk in small amounts, beating well after each addition. Put into greased pans and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees), 30 to 35 min. Makes 2 (9-inch) layers.
