Receta Banana Doughnuts

Ingredientes
- 2 c. All purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Shortening
- 1/3 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1/4 c. Buttermilk
- 1 med size Banana, mashed
- 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Mace
- 1/8 tsp Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
Direcciones
- Sift together flour, baking pwdr, soda, and salt. Beat shortening till creamy, then add in sugar and beat till light. Add in egg and beat in well. Then add in buttermilk, banana, spices, and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients. Put onto floured board, knead lightly, and roll to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with doughnut cutter. Fry in warm deep fat till nicely browned, drain on paper towels, and dust with powdered sugar.
- Makes 2 dozen doughnuts.
