  1. Slice bananas into 1" pcs. Heat butter over medium heat in sauce pan.Stir in brown sugar. Add in bananas. Cook for 3 min or possibly till heated through. Spoon over vanilla or possibly chocolate ice cream. In a small pan, heat rum till warm. Don't let it simmer or possibly the alcohol will evaporate. Pour warm rum into a large ladle. Place the bananas with ice cream in front of your guest. Ignite the rum in the ladle, and pour over ice cream as it flames.
