  • 2 to 3 lbs. spare ribs
  • 2 tbsp. honey + 1 tbsp. water


  1. Brown 1 clove garlic with 2 tbsp. oil (medium). Put in the following: Combine all of these in one bowl: 2 tbsp. grnd bean sauce 2 tbsp. oyster sauce 2 tbsp. hoisin sauce 8 tbsp. sugar 1 teaspoon cooking wine 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  2. 1. After marinade is cooked, spread on two sides of spare ribs. Let stand in room temperature for at least 2 hrs.
  3. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  4. 3. Put spareribs on a rack in a broiler pan. Brown one side for 20 min. Turn to another side. Roast for 15 more min.
  5. 4. Remove spare ribs from oven. Brush on some honey water. Put it back to oven for a few more min.
  6. 5. Cut up spare ribs and serve.
