  1. Place ribs in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 30 min, drain fat from pan.
  2. In a heavy saucepan, mix apple sauce, syrup, paprika, garlic pwdr and cinnamon. Over medium-high heat, bring the sauce to the boiling point and continue boiling for one to two min.
  3. Brush prebaked ribs liberally with the sauce. Bake for 30 min at 350 degrees. Turn ribs and bush underside with remaining sauce. Continue baking for another 10 min.
