Receta Basic Yeast Rolls

Ingredientes
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. water (hot)
- 4 1/2 - 5 c. flour
Direcciones
- Scald first four ingredients. Allow to cool till lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water. Mix yeast and egg with cooled lowfat milk mix. Fold in flour till dough is stiff, turn out on lightly floured board and knead for a full 5 min. Place dough in greased bowl and allow to rise in a warm place till double, about 1 hour. Punch down and pinch off rolls. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 min. This recipe produces dough suitable for cinnamon rolls, sweet rolls, doughnuts and loaf bread. (Bake loaf for 45 min.)
