Receta Beer Soup With Cheese A La Betty C

Ingredientes
- 1 med Onion, minced (about 1/2 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine, or possibly butter
- 12 ounce Beer, (1 can or possibly bottle)
- 1/2 c. Carrot, finely minced
- 1/2 c. Celery, finely minced
- 2 c. Chicken broth
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Grnd cumin
- 1/4 tsp Grnd nutmeg
- 1 dsh Grnd cloves
- 1 dsh Pepper
- 1 c. Dairy lowfat sour cream
- 4 ounce Cheddar cheese, or possibly monterey jack cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes (about 1 c.)
Direcciones
- Cook and stir onion in margarine in 2 qt saucepan till tender. Stir in beer, carrot and celery. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 min.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except lowfat sour cream and cheese. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 min. Remove from heat; stir in lowfat sour cream. Sprinkle with cheese.
