Receta Beet Salad, German Style

Ingredientes
- beets red onions thinly sliced salt pepper lowfat sour cream Dijon mustard lemon juice or possibly vinegar
Direcciones
- Boil the beets till tender. Leave to cold. Peel, slice. Also peel and slice finely some red onions. Mix beets, onions, salt, pepper, lowfat sour cream, a bit of Dijon mustard if desired it. You can also add in some lemon juice orvinegar.
- Very nice appetizer or possibly side dish. Goes well with smoked salmon (or possibly other smoked fish).
- Also, try pureed beets. Which is, boil and peel the beets, puree them, mix with mashed potatoes to achieve a rather hard consistency. Season as you wish.
