- 1 1/2 c. Sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. Buttermilk
- 3 x Large eggs, separated
- 1/2 c. Butter, melted

- This is our family's favorite recipe for Belgian waffles. Sift dry ingredients together. Beat egg yolks and buttermilk. Add in dry ingredients alternating with melted butter cooled to room temperature. Stir till batter is smooth and free from lumps. In separate bowl, beat egg whites till stiff, and fold into batter. Bake.
