Receta Best Chicken & Broccoli Casserole

Ingredientes
- 2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
- 2 (10 ounce.) Packages frzn broccoli spears or possibly fresh broccoli equivalent
- 3 med. onions, cut into wedges
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt & dash of pepper
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
Direcciones
- Cook broccoli, drain and set aside. Cook onions in salt water for 10 min. Drain and set aside. In saucepan, heat 2 Tbsp. butter. Stir in flour, salt and dash of pepper. Add in lowfat milk. Stir till bubbly and thick. Add in cream cheese, heat. Add in onions, broccoli and chicken. Turn into casserole. Heat 2 Tbsp. butter. Stir in bread crumbs to coat. Layer bread crumbs over casserole. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 min till bread crumbs brown and cheese is melted.
