  1. Stir cream cheese and lowfat sour cream in a bowl. Heat oil in a medium pan. Add in onion,salt,pepper, and cook till onion if soft but not browned. Let cold.
  2. Stir into cream cheese mix along with the green onions and chill at least 30 min or possibly up to 2 days.
  3. NOTES: The woman who made this,did not cook the onions. I thought it was really good without being cooked,though she still added the extra virgin olive oil. She also added about 2 tbsp of liquid beef bouillion to give it some color.
  4. This is definately better than the homemade kind which you make with the instant onion soup mix.
