Receta Best Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Grandma's molasses
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- Healthy pinch of salt
- 3/4 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
- 1 c. oatmeal (dry)
- 1/3 c. raisins
- 1/3 c. minced pecans
Direcciones
- Blend molasses and water. Heat the shortening and add in the egg and sugar; beat well. Next sprinkle the flour and other dry ingredients and mix well again into the molasses and egg mix. Stir in the oats, raisins, and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 min. Makes 30 or possibly 40 cookies. For more, double the recipe.
