Receta Best Pastry Apple Strudel

Ingredientes
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 c. corn flakes
- 1 (3 lb.) bag apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- 1 egg white
- Lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Combine flour and salt, cut in shortening. Beat egg yolk in measuring c. and add in sufficient lowfat milk to make 2/3 c. liquid. Mix well and stir into flour mix. Roll half of mix and lay on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with corn flakes. Top with sliced apples.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Roll second half of dough and put on top of apple mix. Seal edges. Cut slits in top. Beat egg white till frothy. Brush on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 min.
