Receta Bisato Sull'ara (Baked Eel With Bay Leaves)

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb cleaned and skinned eel
  • 1 x fresh bay leaves
  • 1 x salt and pepper

Direcciones

  1. Take a piece of cleaned and skinned eel and cut it across into two pcs, to fil an oblong oven dish. Make incisions right round the pcs at intervals 2 inches, as if to cut right through them, but without soing so. Strew fresh bay leaves generously oner the bottom of your oven dish, place the fish on top, sprinkle with salt and pepper and a little water, then cover them with more bay leaves. Cook thus in the oven at 290F. for 45 min or possibly more, till the eel is tender.
