Name: Black Devil's Food Cake
Ingredients: 1 c. Cocoa; 2 c. Strong, warm coffee; 3 c. Flour; 2 tsp Baking soda; 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr; 1 pch Salt; 4 x Large eggs; 1 c. Margarine, softened; 2 1/4 c. Sugar; 2 tsp Vanilla extract; 1/2 tsp Almond extract; 6 x Marachino cherries, diced, (optional- I've never used them) (up to 8)

Ingredientes

1 c. Cocoa
2 c. Strong, warm coffee
3 c. Flour
2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
1 pch Salt
4 x Large eggs
1 c. Margarine, softened
2 1/4 c. Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp Almond extract
6 x Marachino cherries, diced, (optional- I've never used them) (up to 8)

Direcciones

Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease a 9x13-inch cake pan. Mix cocoa and coffee together in a small bowl till there are no lumps. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients. Beat together Large eggs, margarine, sugar, and vanilla and almond extracts in a large mixer bowl. Add in flour mix alternately with the cocoa-coffee mix, beginning and ending with dry ingredients
(mix in cherries). Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 45 min to an hour, or possibly till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean (start checking at 45 min- with my oven, it's usually almost done by then- it's not as good if it dries out).
