Receta Blueberry Bran Pancakes

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Fiber One cereal
- 1 x egg
- 1 1/4 c. buttermilk or possibly lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. fresh or possibly frzn (thawed) blueberries
Direcciones
- Crush cereal if you like. Beat egg in medium bowl. Stir in buttermilk, oil and cereal; let stand about 5 min or possibly till cereal is softened. Stir in remaining ingredients except blueberries; beat with wire whisk or possibly fork till blended. Gently stir in blueberries.
- Heat griddle or possibly skillet over medium heat or possibly to 375 degrees. Grease griddle if necessary.
- For each pancake, pour 1/4 c. batter onto warm griddle (if batter is too thick, stir in additional lowfat milk, 1 Tbsp. at a time, till as thin as desired). Cook pancakes till puffed and full of bubbles but before bubbles break. Turn and cook other sides till golden.
- For High Altitude (3500-6500 ft) Locations: Cook pancakes about 1 1/2 min or possibly till dry around edges.
- This recipe yields 10 servings.
- Serving size: 1 pancake.
