Receta Blueberry "Grunt"

Ingredientes
- 1 lb Blueberries (I used frzn, let thaw)
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Grnd allspice
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Grated lemon rind
- 1/4 c. Maple syrup
- 1 c. Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 c. Light cream (or possibly half and half)
Direcciones
- For the crust: Sift the flour, baking pwdr and salt into bowl. Cut the butter into small pcs and add in to flour, working it in with your fingertips till it resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the cream till the mix forms a soft dough. If too stiff, add in a little lowfat milk; set aside. Put the berries, sugar, allspice, lemon juice, rind and syrup in a saucepan pver low heat, stirring constantly till the sugar has dissolved. Cook gently for 5 min, stirring constantly. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough mix over the blueberry mix (in the saucepan) so which it is completely covered. Cover the pan and simmer for 20 min or possibly till the topping is puffed and browned.
- Makes about 4 servings.
