Receta Boiled Red Cabbage

Ingredientes
- 1 sm. red cabbage, quartered & thinly sliced
- 1-2 tart apples, grated
- 1 1/2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. red currant jelly
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Direcciones
- Heat butter in heavy kettle and add in cabbage, apples, vinegar, jelly, salt and water. Cover and simmer till cabbage is tender, about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add in sugar and more salt if needed. Serve with pork and other meat dishes. Serves 4.
