  1. In 1 cup of oil saute ground beef to render fat, chopping the beef to prevent it from clumping. Remove meat and discard oil and fat.
  2. In 1 cup of oil saute the onions and celery until softened.
  3. Add spices and herbs, cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, tomato puree, white wine, and cooked beef.
  5. Cook on low heat for one (1) hour to reduce and enrich flavors.
  6. Remove bay leaves, garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
