Receta Broccoli Knishes, Passover

Ingredientes
- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 1/3 c. matzo meal
- 2 Tbsp. potato starch
- 1/2 sm onion finely minced
- 2 x egg whites *note
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 c. steamed broccoli liquid removed well and finely minced Cooking spray (optional)
Direcciones
- *Note - Or possibly use 1/4 c. Passover egg substitute
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In bowl, combine all ingredients except broccoli and cooking spray. Stir well, then knead till thoroughly combined and the texture of dough.
- Divide into 6 portions. Flatten each portion into a 4" round, pressing down with waxed paper to flatten. Put 1/6 of the broccoli mix into each circle, fold over and press edges to seal.
- Arrange on sprayed (or possibly non-stick) cooking sheet in single layer and place on bottom rack of oven. Bake 15 min on each side. Serve warm.
- NOTES : Here's a favorite of mine.
