Receta Brussels Sprouts And Carrot Hash

Ingredientes
- 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 c. (375 ml) minced onion
- 2 clv garlic, finely minced
- 1 lb (450 g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and finely minced
- 1 lrg carrot, finely minced
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) dry thyme
- 1/2 c. (125 ml) water
- 1 x red bell pepper, seeded and finely minced Salt and freshly grnd black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over moderate heat. Add in the onions and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, for 5 min, till softened but not brown. Add in the sprouts, carrot, thyme, and water and simmer aver low heat for 5 - 10 min, till the water has completely evaporated. Add in the bell pepper, salt, and pepper, and saute/fry an additional minute.
