Receta Buttermilk Scones

Ingredientes
- 2 c. flour (add in 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg)
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 8 T (1 stick) butter
- 3/4 c. buttermilk (add in 1 egg)
- 1/2 c. currants
- 2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 T baking pwdr
- 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 c. currants
Direcciones
- Put together ingredients. Knead briefly on a floured board. Press into a circle and cut into wedges or possibly roll to 1/2" thick and cut into 1 1/2" rounds.Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 min till light brown.
- Serve warm with butter or possibly with jam, whipped cream, or possibly marmalade.
- May also be baked in electric frying pan.
