Receta Canned Apple Pie Filling

Ingredientes
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cornstarch
- 3 T cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 10 c. water
- 3 T lemon juice
- 6-8 tart apples, peeled and sliced
Direcciones
- In large pan mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Add in water, cook and stir over medium heat till bubbles and thickens. Remove from heat. Add in the lemon juice.Pack hot qt jars with apple slices. Leave 1 inch space at top of jar. Fill jars with hot syrup. Process in hot water 15 min. Makes 6 qts.
