  1. Boil your Beets for about 10-15 minutes or until the skins are soft enough to slip off.
  2. Put 1 teaspoon of plain salt in each quart jar. Put ½ teaspoon in each pint jar.
  3. Cut your beets into whatever shape you desire.
  4. Pour hot water into each jar covering the beets.
  5. Put the lid on and screw the ring down.
  6. Pressure cook your beets.
