Ingredientes
- TART SHELLS
- 1 cup butter
- 4 teaspoons confectioner's sugar
- 2 cups flour
- FILLING
- 2 cups dates -- chopped
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- lemon juice

- Tart Shells: Cut butter into the flour, add the sugar and knead until well blended. Press small amounts of the dough into small muffin tins.
- Bake in a 425 degree oven for 10 minutes. When cool, fill with the
- following.
- Filling: Simmer the above ingredients until the dates are of soft
- consistency. Cool, then fill the tart shells. Ice with buttercream icing.
