Receta Tourtiere French Onion And Pork Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 x onion minced
- 1 x clove garlic minced
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1Â 1/2 lb grnd pork
- 1/2 tsp grnd cloves
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp grnd savory
- 1 x bay leaf
- 3/4 c. boiling pork stock or possibly water
- Â Â salt
- Â Â freshly grnd pepper
- Â Â pastry shell
- 1 x egg to glaze
Direcciones
- Cook the onion and garlic in butter till melted, add in the prok and continue cooking, breaking up the meat and stiring freauently. Add in the cloves, cinnamon, savory, bay leaf, pork stock and salt and pepper to taste. Continue cooking stirring, about 30 min. Place filling in refrigerator and refrigeratethoroughly.
- Fill in pie shell and put in oven at 425 degrees for 10 min, and then at 350 degrees 40 min longer.
