Receta Cardamom Breakfast Rice (1 Serving)

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. white basmati rice
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 x -1/2 teaspoon oil (I use extra virgin olive oil)
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp maple syrup (more if desired it sweeter)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp currants, raisins, or possibly dates
- 1 Tbsp. minced pecans or possibly slivered almonds
- 1 tsp toasted sunflower seeds
Direcciones
- Combine rice, nutmeg, cardamom, and coriander in pan with oil. Saute/fry till rice smells nutty. Add in rest of ingredients, cover and cook approximately 15 min or possibly till water is absorbed and rice is tender. I serve mine with soy lowfat milk.
- This recipe is for one serving.
- Easy to increase for additional people.
