Receta Caribbean Pork Chops With Apple Island Sauce

Ingredientes
- 2/3 c. Water
- 1/3 c. Minced onion
- 1/3 c. Lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 2 tsp Light brown sugar
- 1 tsp Chicken-flavor instant bouillon
- 3/4 tsp Grnd allspice
- 3/4 tsp Black pepper
- 3/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp Thyme leaves
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper, to 1/2 teaspoon
- 4 x Boneless pork loin chops
Direcciones
- Combine all ingredients except meat. Place meat in shallow dish or possibly plastic bag, Pour marinade over meat. Cover; marinate in refrigerator 4 hrs or possibly overnight. Remove meat from marinade; heat marinade. Grill or possibly broil as desired, basting frequently with marinade. Serve with Apple Island Sauce.
- Chill leftovers.
- APPLE ISLAND SAUCE: In small saucepan, combine 1-1/2 c. chunky applesauce, 1/2 c. water, 2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. sugar and 2 tsp. lemon juice. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 to 15 min.
