Ingredientes

  • 2 can Garbanzo beans
  • 1 c. Rice
  • 3 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 lrg Onion, minced
  • 1 lrg Tomato, fresh, minced
  • 3 clv garlic, crushed Ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp Garam masala Cayenne pepper
  • 1 x salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c. Water Raisins (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Cook rice. In large saucepan, saute/fry onion, garlic, and ginger in 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil; add in a little water to keep from sticking. Add in garam masala, cayenne, salt, pepper, & tomato sauce, stirring well. Add in baking soda, garbanzos, water.
  2. Simmer 20-30 minutes. till onions and tomatoes are very soft. If you like, add in raisins during last few minutes. Serve over rice.
