Receta Chala Masala

Ingredientes
- 2 can Garbanzo beans
- 1 c. Rice
- 3 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 lrg Onion, minced
- 1 lrg Tomato, fresh, minced
- 3 clv garlic, crushed Ginger, grated
- 1 tsp Garam masala Cayenne pepper
- 1 x salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. Tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. Water Raisins (optional)
Direcciones
- Cook rice. In large saucepan, saute/fry onion, garlic, and ginger in 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil; add in a little water to keep from sticking. Add in garam masala, cayenne, salt, pepper, & tomato sauce, stirring well. Add in baking soda, garbanzos, water.
- Simmer 20-30 minutes. till onions and tomatoes are very soft. If you like, add in raisins during last few minutes. Serve over rice.
