Receta Cheese Crust Apple Pie

Ingredientes
- pastry for 2 crust pie
- 1/3 c. grated american cheese or possibly sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 1/3 Tbsp. butter filling:
- 1 tsp nutmeg or possibly cinnamon
- 6 c. sliced apples (6 to 7)
- 1 1/3 Tbsp. butter
Direcciones
- When rolling out top crust, sprinkle with grated cheese. Dot with butter. Roll up pastry like a jelly roll, fold ends to center; fold again in middle, and roll out. Filling: Mix together sugar and cinnamon
- (or possibly nutmeg). Add in apple slices and mix thoroughly. Line pie pan with bottom crust. Pour apple mix into lined pie pan. Dot with butter, cover with top crust. Bake at 425 till crust is nicely browned and apples are cooked through, about 50 to 60 min. Serve hot. Lilli Beach
