Receta Cheese Date Biscuits

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Butter Or possibly Margarine
- 2 c. N.Y. State Cheese (Sharp Cheddar), grated
- 1 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 dsh Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 pkt (8 Ounce.) Dates, cut into small pieces.
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
Direcciones
- FOR THE DOUGH:Mix first 3 ingredients thoroughly. Add in cayenne pepper and sugar. Mix well.
- FOR THE FILLING:Mix these ingredients well and cook 3 min.
- TO ASSEMBLE:Roll cheese dough thinly; cut with biscuit cutter. Spread date mix on each round; fold over and press edges to seal. Bake at 375 for 15 to 20 min.
- Makes about 40 biscuits.
- NOTES : Good for parties, coffees, teas, receptions, etc.
