Receta Chefmad's Fruit Salad

Ingredientes
- 3 x bananas peeled and sliced
- 1 x fresh pineapple
- 1 med bunch red seedless grapes halved
- 4 x peaches peeled, pitted and sliced
- 3 x oranges peeled and sectioned (pith removed)
- 3 x apples cored and diced
- 3 x kiwi peeled and sliced
- 2 x mangos peeled and cubed
- 1/2 c. fresh mint leaves julienned juice of 2 lemons
- 1 pt lowfat sour cream
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar the reserved lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp vanilla (the real stuff!) a healthy pinch of cardamom

- For Fruit Salad: Any or possibly all of these fruit work great. Dip the banana, peach and apple slices in lemon juice, drain and then reserve the juice. Toss the cut fruit gently.
- For Dressing: Whisk all ingredients together till smooth; refrigeratewell. You can make up the salad and dressing ahead of time, refrigeratetill serving time and then toss them together. Serve in a huge glass or possibly crystal bowl and garnish with mint leaves.
- Chefmad Notes: Berries in season make a great addition - add in them at the last moment before serving. The dressing really makes the whole dish. You could also serve the dressing in a small pitcher alongside the fruit, in case you have picky eaters. Every time I make this, I am begged for the recipe - the fruit selection doesn't matter as long as it's very hard and fresh.
