Receta Chicken Breasts In Maple Syrup

Ingredientes
- 4 x Boneless chicken breasts All-purpose flour Salt and pepper
- 4 lrg Mushrooms, finely minced
- 1/2 c. Cooked ham, finely diced
- 1/2 tsp Dry chives
- 3 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 x Onion, thinly sliced Healthy pinch savory
- 1/4 c. Maple syrup
- 1/2 c. Water
Direcciones
- Roll each breast in flour seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. In skillet, saute/fry mushrooms, ham and chives in 1 tbsp. butter. Slit thick portion of each chicken breast to create pocket; insert spoonful of ham mix. Secure with skewers.
- Add in remaining butter to skillet; brown chicken breasts over medium heat.
- Arrange in shallow casserole. Saute/fry onion in remaining drippings; add in savory. Spoon over chicken. Pour 1 tbsp. maple syrup over each chicken breast.
- Add in water to skillet and stir up browned bits from bottom of pan; pour into casserole. Bake, uncovered, in 350 F oven for 30 to 40 min. Remove skewers before serving.
- Makes 4 servings.
