  • 4 x Boneless chicken breasts All-purpose flour Salt and pepper
  • 4 lrg Mushrooms, finely minced
  • 1/2 c. Cooked ham, finely diced
  • 1/2 tsp Dry chives
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 x Onion, thinly sliced Healthy pinch savory
  • 1/4 c. Maple syrup
  • 1/2 c. Water

Direcciones

  1. Roll each breast in flour seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. In skillet, saute/fry mushrooms, ham and chives in 1 tbsp. butter. Slit thick portion of each chicken breast to create pocket; insert spoonful of ham mix. Secure with skewers.
  2. Add in remaining butter to skillet; brown chicken breasts over medium heat.
  3. Arrange in shallow casserole. Saute/fry onion in remaining drippings; add in savory. Spoon over chicken. Pour 1 tbsp. maple syrup over each chicken breast.
  4. Add in water to skillet and stir up browned bits from bottom of pan; pour into casserole. Bake, uncovered, in 350 F oven for 30 to 40 min. Remove skewers before serving.
  5. Makes 4 servings.
