Receta Chicken Livers With Bacon, Onions Andapple

Ingredientes
- 1 pound chicken livers
- 1 (8 ounce) pkg. sliced bacon
- 2 med. onions, sliced
- 1 lg. red cooking apples, cut in wedges
- 1/2 c. water and 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 T apple jelly
Direcciones
- Cut bacon into 1 inch pcs. Cook bacon till browned, drain bacon on paper towel. In drippings remaining in frying pan, cook onions 5 min over medium heat. Add in apple wedges, cook 5 min longer or possibly till onions and wedges are browned and tender. Remove from frying pan. Cook chicken livers in remaining drippings till livers are golden brown, but still pink inside. Stir frequently. Put together livers, bacon, onions and apples, add in water, wine, jelly, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer over medium heat.
