Receta Chicken Sates With Dipping Sauces

Ingredientes
- 1 pkg. boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 T soy sauce
- 1 T brown sugar, preferably dark
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 c. chicken broth/stock
- 1/4 c. shelled, skinned fresh roasted peanuts
- 1 T fresh lemon juice
- 1 T chopped fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- Salt
- 1 jar prepared hoisin sauce
- Light salt soy sauce
Direcciones
- Mix water, soy sauce, brown sugar and garlic in bowl. Add in chicken and stir to coat. Marinate for 1-3 hrs, turning frequently.For peanut sauce: Mix first 6 ingredients in blender till smooth, about 1 minute. Transfer to saucepan. Simmer till thick sufficient to coat spoon, stirring constantly, about 10 min. Season with salt to taste.
- For plum sauce: Place prepared hoisin sauce in bowl. Add in soy sauce till sauce is smooth, not runny, and is still able to coat spoon.
- Prepare grill or possibly preheat broiler. Grill or possibly broil sates 4 inches from heat source till golden and cooked through, about 3 min per side. Set sates on plate. Pass sauces separately for dipping.
