Receta Chicken Turkey Croquettes

Ingredientes
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 2/3 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 4 c. grnd or possibly finely minced chicken or possibly turkey
- 1/2 sm. onion (opt.)
Direcciones
- Make a white sauce of first 4 ingredients. (Heat butter, blend in flour till smooth, add in lowfat milk and stir till smooth. Add in salt, cold.) Mix with minced chicken and onion after white sauce is thick and cold. Chill. Shape into croquettes. Dip in bread crumbs. Refrigerateagain. Dip in beaten egg, then bread crumbs. Refrigerateagain. Fry in warm fat (deep fry) 3 to 4 min or possibly till brown. Chilling is extremely important. May use freezer to speed process.
