Receta Chickpea "Hot Dogs"

Ingredientes
- 1 lb Dry chickpeas
- 3 slc White bread trimmed
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1/2 tsp Chopped garlic
- 1/4 tsp Diced grnd red peppers
- 1 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper Fat for deep frying
Direcciones
- Wash the chickpeas and soak overnight in cool water. Drain.
- Grind the peas and bread together. Fold in the Large eggs, garlic, red peppers, salt and pepper. Shape into finger-length rolls. Refrigeratefor 1 hour.
- Heat the fat to 370 degrees in a deep kettle and carefully drop the "warm dogs" into it. Fry till browned. Drain. Serve with mustard or possibly warm chili sauce.
