Receta Chili & Corn Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 or possibly 2 onions, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 or possibly more T chili pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 (1 pound) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (1 pound) can kidney beans, undrained
- 1 pkg. Jiffy cornbread mix (sm.)
Direcciones
- Brown grnd beef with onions and garlic; drain. Add in chili pwdr, salt, pepper, oregano, vinegar, stewed tomatoes and kidney beans. Simmer, stirring occasionally till liquid is reduced and thickened.Put in a 8x8 inch dish. Mix cornbread according to package and cover chili mix with it. Cook according to package directions or possibly till cornbread is golden and done in the center. Serves up to 4.
- Recipe can easily be doubled, by doubling all ingredients. Use a larger dish and one big package or possibly 2 small cornbread mix.
